02/14/07 BlueMap Design Participates in Building Competencies Workshop by the Consulates General of Finland and Sweden Simon Yan, President of BlueMap Design recently participated in a two-day workshop on Building Competencies with 35 participants from leading Finnish, Swedish and American design firms to explore the fundamentals of design firm/client firm relations. Discussions and context was supported with academic research on the interplay between design firms and client firms. Discussions were moderated by Bruce Nussbaum of BusinessWeek at the Scandinavia House in New York City. The Consulates General of Finland and Sweden, MOMA and Scandinavia House organized the event.

10/1/06 The Kodak EasyShare V-570 camera Selected by the JIDA Design Museum The Kodak V-570 camera has been selected to be on exhibit at the 2005-06 JIDA Design Museum Collection in Tokyo and Nagano, Japan. The JIDA (Japan Industrial Designers' Association) is the only national organization of the industrial designer established by 25 members in 1952. They select 65 products from the current market and display them in their design museum in Tokyo and Nagano.


10/1/06 The Kodak EasyShare V-570 camera Selected by the Biennial of Industrial Design Museum The Kodak V-570 camera has been selected to be on exhibit from October 5 through November 6, 2006 at the Biennial of Industrial Design (BIO) in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The Biennial of Industrial Design (BIO) is a prestigious international exhibition of industrial design, visual communication and design concepts. It is one of the few events in the world to present, every two years, an expert selection of industrial design products and to promote, through well designed products by Slovene and foreign designers, contemporary trends in world industrial design.


10/1/06 The Kodak EasyShare V-570 camera, Kodak EasyShare-one camera, and Kodak EasyShare P-880 camera on display at the Red Dot Design Museum, Singapore Kodak’s V-570, EasyShare-one, and the P-880 has been selected to be on exhibit from October 23, 2006 through October 22, 2007 at the Red Dot Design Museum in Singagpore. Each of the three cameras has distinctive characteristics that exemplify purposefulness, streamlined, feasible, and unexpected surprise.

The Kodak EasyShare-one camera is the winner of the 2006 IDEA Silver Award. The Kodak EasyShare-one camera also wins the Red Dot Award for 2006.
