Good Design Award, 2003
The EasyShare LS-633 was introduced as Kodak’s first metal body camera. It represents Kodak’s effort to establish a line of stylish high-end consumer digital cameras. BlueMap’s challenge was to simplify the overall form of the camera, to apply unique finishes and texture, and to give the camera a more sophisticated, classic look.
It is the first digital camera to include the revolutionary high-resolution OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display, which is significantly thinner, brighter, and more energy efficient. It provides a better viewing angle than today’s conventional LCD displays.
